The B.C Royal Purple Association was formed to be a link between the National Royal Purple and the local Lodges. This organization was formed on June 4, 1994 in Courtenay, B.C. The five petal Dogwood was approved as the floral emblem at the fourth annual Conference in Kelowna, B.C. June 1,1998.
PURPOSE
The Purpose of the B.C. Royal Purple Association will be benevolent and charitable.
1. To support the objects of Supreme Lodge and the local Lodges.
2. To promote harmony and fellowship among the members under the jurisdiction of the Association.
3. To promote and support our National Charity, The Elks and Royal Purple Fund for Children.
4. To be financially sound and independant.
5. To work in harmony with the B.C. Elks Provincial Association.

BENEFITS OF BELONGING
Opportunity
- be informed, attend B.C. conference each June, receive periodical newsletters.
Learn about B.C. Elks Children's Camps.
Two voting directors from Royal Purple Association are on the board of Directors.

Present your concerns and ideas
- A delegation of Provincials meet with the Supreme Executive every February.

Lodge Development - assistance if requested.

Self improvement - attend Conference Workshops.

COMMUNICATIONS
- Newsletter-Lodge input results in closer ties with friends.
-Information on Fundraising
- News on upcoming events in other Lodges.

Resolutions
- Lodge and District Resolutions sent to the Association receive support from the Province.

Donations
Island Farms UPC codes are collected and funds are donated to the Elks and Royal Purple Fund for Children.

Campbell's labels, from all products. The money raised will go to the BC Family Hearing Centre.
