BCRP President’s Letter

Hello Ladies,

Welcome to another year of Royal Purple. How proud I am to be representing you as your President for the 2008-2009 term! Thank you all for the confidence shown and the support given to me. I will do my best to fulfill your expectations.

My theme for the year is “Making Connections”. Connections are partnerships that embrace every aspect of our lives. We are all connected by our common goals and aspirations. Each member brings their unique gifts to our organization and each member is needed to ensure the success and growth of Royal Purple. I encourage you to maintain positive connections and to create new ones.

Let’s be the “connector” that inspires, encourages and transforms the lives of those around us.

Have an exciting time making meaningful connections with one another. I hope to see many of you throughout the coming year.

Joan Popovich

2008-2009 B.C. Royal Purple President

CHARITY PROGRAMS
Island Farm Products
These products are available in many parts of the province now, so please be sure to save the UPC labels from these products as we receive money from the company when we turn them in and this goes to support our various charity programs.

Campbell Labels
Saving these labels allow us to purchase various pieces of educational supplies for use in the preschool program at the BC Hearing Resource Centre.

Husky/Mohawk Community Rebate Program
Just swipe your rebate card when you make a purchase and 2% of your retail purchase will be credited to the BC Royal Purple Association to support their charity programs. Don't have a card? Contact any member of the Association or the Charity committee.

Pennies
All the Lodges have been asked to consider collecting pennies at their Lodges to help support the different charities.

Tabs for Tots Program
You can now save foil wrap and pie plates. This program was instituted by the fundraising committee to raise funds for playground equipment for our camps. These are added to the beer and pop tabs that you have been saving.
